How this works. Winners come from the Open Halalan dataset (2001–2025 winners; vote counts from 2010). People are matched across elections by surname, first name and middle name within Aklan, using the person records from Dynasties by BetterGov.ph. A bloc counts everyone who carries the surname as a last name or a middle name, so one person can sit in two blocs (their father's and mother's surnames). A shared surname is a signal, not proof of kinship. Common surnames will group unrelated people, and families that intermarry under different names are missed. Provincial seats (governor, vice governor, board members, representatives) count toward provincial totals but not toward any single town's color.
